In Alexandria there lived a dyer called Abu Kir. In the same street there was a barber called Abu Sir. The two of them had known each other a long time.
Abu Kir took payment and then did no work. He had sold the cloth and said it was lost too many times. Nobody in that street would give him work any more.
One day the two of them decide to leave the city. There was one agreement. Whichever of them had work would feed them both. That one sentence was what they boarded the ship with.
