Holding a Skull

A hole is being opened in a field. Two men work their spades and talk as they go. They are arguing over whether the dead woman went into the water herself.

The talk turns to jokes. One asks who builds the strongest thing, the carpenter or the shipwright. The gravedigger, the other says, because the houses he makes last till doomsday.

Then two men come across the field. They are Hamlet and Horatio. The one who sailed away is back.
