In the great temple in the west, the Tathagata raised a matter. “No good teaching has reached the lands of the east. I hold the scriptures of the three baskets.”
A bodhisattva asked a question. “Then may we not simply take them over?” The Tathagata shook his head.
“Given for nothing, they are valued at nothing. Let someone come from the east and fetch them.” Guanyin rose from her seat.
